Bereaved Parents Conference

Karen and Scott Harmening have a passion for ministering to parents who have lost a child as they tragically experienced this loss themselves in 2017 when their 17 year old daughter Sarah was killed in a bus accident on her way to Botswana on a Mission Trip. They hosted their 2nd Bereaved Parents Conference in Botswana on December 7, 2024. It was an all day event where parents could meet with other parents and share their stories openly about the loss of their children all based around the Hope we have in Jesus. The Lord has used Karen and Scott and their family in so many amazing ways through the testimony of Sarah and how she loved Jesus. 

They also hosted a conference for pastors and leaders to help them better minister to those who are grieving. What a blessing this family has been to so many ❤️
