Elephant Sands

The kids had a long weekend from school so we headed camping just past Nata, Botswana to one of the most amazing places called Elephant Sands. The elephants roam free and many times wandered just past our tent. It was the most amazing weekend just hanging out with these majestic animals.

MaP market

Even Ellie joined in making some bead art that some dear friends came and bought 😉

Taylor’s high school (Maruapula or MaP) recently held a market, so Taylor and I did our first venue of putting some of our MAD Art stuff out there. It was so fun and we really enjoyed meeting so many new people.

Ellie

Ellie loves being right in the mix of everything. She loves to help mommy cook and wash dishes and she loves to go to childrens church with me every Friday. She has recently started gymnastics and is just the cutest little tumbler out there…she does want to bring all her moves home to teach the family and I am realizing I am getting too old to tumble 😂 thankful for this Ray of sunshine ☀️

Awana in Botswana

What a blessing it was to bring in 14 people from the Baptists all throughout Botswana to be trained on how to run an Awana program in their areas. We use Awana for our children’s ministry we do on Fridays and it has been transformational to our program.

Young marrieds

We meet with Young Marrieds once a month in our home. They have grown from  young marrieds to young families. We are so happy to now welcome their children each month and Ellie has a blast playing with all of them.  We have been teaching on finances/budgeting using the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace We walked through so many years ago  so thankful for this crew ❤️

Sunday School

Most Sunday mornings you will find me teaching Sunday School at Gaborone Baptist Church. I love these precious kids and we have grown so much that we have had to split the kids into 2 groups (3-9 year olds and 10-12 year olds). We lack teachers to split them up any more but we are thankful for those who serve in this area.

Baptism in Zimbabwe

Colleagues in Zimbabwe recently held a baptism for 6 ladies. What a blessing to see how God is moving!!

Meet Amelia

Meet Amelia. After a snake and a rat in the same day, we decided to go to the BSPCA and adopt a kitten. She has fit in well and really wants to be a dog like our labradors. Let’s hope she is a mighty hunter.

FUSION

We have been wanting to start a high school ministry out of our home for 2 years now. Now that restrictions with Covid are becoming less, we were able to begin in January 2022. We will be hosting these once a month and our next meeting is March 19.
