Snow/ice

 We got some snow/ice in Raleigh this past weekend and the kids had so much fun playing outside and sledding with the neighborhood kids. Thankful for such a great community to land in while we are Stateside. 

Dana ❤️

Our hearts are grieving the loss of our dear friend Dana Babbs. Dana and Nick have walked beside of us for 20+ years as we firstmet in a Young Married Life Class at Providence Church and they encouraged us as we left to serve the Lord in Botswana. We would see them each and every Stateside and they have loved and spoiled our kids as their own. Our hearts are broken, but we grieve as those who do have Hope (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) and know God sees each of our tears (Psalm 56:8).

Pray for Dana’s husband Nick and their 3 precious children-Caleb, Easton, and Paisley. 

 

January meetings/speaking opportunities

January started off busy with several speaking engagements. We went from Littleton, NC at Enterprise Baptist Church to Irvine, CA to a Multi State Missions Directors Meeting to Richmond, VA for Missions College. 

We were able to explore Southern California a bit and see Brent’s dad’s old stomping grounds as a kid.

We were so thankful to be a part of the meeting in California and share what the Lord is doing in Sub-Saharan Africa 

New Years Eve

We spent New Years with Brent’s parents and were able to welcome Taylor’s boyfriend to the East Coast for a bit. 

I love getting to spend these sweet moments with family ❤️ 

Cruisin’ Christmas

Brent’s parents took the entire family on a cruise of the Western Caribbean for Christmas this year. There were 24 of us in total and we all had such a blast together on Holland America. 

 

The Andy Griffith Show

I grew up watching the Andy Griffith Show, so it was fun to stop through the town of Mount Airy, NC where Andy Griffith grew up to see some of the places he mentions in the show.

Thanksmas

 We were thankful to get to spend Thanksgiving in West Virginia with the Martins. Bradyn and Brent spent lots of time in the woods with Amanda’s dad and brother 😊 Love being with family ❤️
