Easter was so fun this year. We celebrated with the children’s ministry at Gaborone Baptist Church with an egg race and the story of Jesus dying on the cross. We then attended our annual Easter Rally where all the Baptists in Botswana get together for the weekend to celebrate Easter. The day before easter we had an egg hunt at the American Embassy complete with a visit from the easter bunny and the following morning the easter bunny left hidden eggs and yummy candy for the kiddos. This is the 2nd year that we did the “resurrection eggs” with the kids and they are learning so much, especially Taylor.
