I have had the privilege to get to volunteer on the Pediatric Oncology Unit at the government hospital and do play, music, and art therapy with the kids for about 8 years now. We recently hosted a ‘Survivor party’ for those children who have battled cancer over the years. This year we had about 100 kids attend. Due to confidentiality agreements I am not able to share any pictures of the kids but below you can see some of those who faithfully volunteer and Miss Botswana even came to the event to encourage the children.
