Flooding, bike rides, and friends

We have been in a severe drought, so when the rains started this rainy season we were so happy. It has rained so much though that we have experienced massive flooding we have only seen 1 other time in Botswana resulting in many people losing their vehicles and severely damaging homes.  

We took a bike ride through the city after the floods receded. Everything was within about a 3 mile radius of our house. 

Ellie’s best friend Jesse often spends time at our house and we just love her. We call her Jesse Turner 😊
