Since we were so close, we took a day trip to Paris. The train from Strasbourg to Paris was only 1 1/2 hours. We had journeyed through Paris about 8 years ago and wanted to go back and see explore. Unfortunately the Olympics are happening in just a week and everything is so barricaded/blocked off. It was quite the challenge to be able to see any of the attractions but when we finally got to the Eiffel Tower we just sat underneath and enjoyed the day.

Tay got us some more gelato-strawberry and raspberry this time.
Never a bad day when you get to see the Eiffel Tower
