My dad ❤️

My dad turned 67 on January 6. There was a snow storm coming and it was literally 0 degrees outside and I challenged him to go make a snow angel. Guess who loves their 43 year old daughter so much that he actually did it ❤️ I sure do LOVE my dad!!!

MAD Art

My dear friend Karen Harmening bought me a Silhouette Cameo 4 while we were in the States. Taylor and I have fallen in love with it and have done so many projects. We created a site to post all of the fun things we have done so follow us on Instagram @mad_art_amanda.taylor.turner

Below is a few things we have created ❤️

Russian friends

The other day while getting copies done for this years childrens ministry, I struck up a conversation with 2 young people. Come to find out they were from Russia and have been traveling for the past 3 years and have been in 25 different countries. I invited them into our home for a meal and to go quad biking and kayaking with us. We had a fun time hanging out with Ivan and Sveta and thankful to hear about their journeys  Funny story, well not really…

Quarantine Christmas

We had a quarantine Christmas since Brent tested positive for Covid. It didn’t stop our fun of cookie baking, gingerbread house, sleepovers under the tree, and painting projects.

Christmas Camping trip

We went out to the southern tip of the Kalahari desert and went camping just before Christmas. We had a lovely time watching baby ostriches run, holding dung beetles, finding baby leopard tortoises, and hearing the lions roar at night

Unfortunately we had to end out trip early as Brent started getting sick. We came home and had him tested and he had Covid so our Christmas was spent quarantined.

Bradyn loves to sit in the top of the truck
