Christmas 2022

We had a wonderful Christmas, even the pets got some treats this year. Thankful for the birth of our Savior ❤️

Sunday school materials

Because of your generous giving,  we were able to provide a children’s Sunday school curriculum, corresponding coloring sheets, crayons, and many more items to all of our Baptist churches and several other partnering churches throughout Botswana.

During our camping trip up in northern Botswana, we were able to stop and deliver the materials to several of the churches and visit with them.

What a blessing! Thank you for giving ❤️

Maun, Botswana

After our camping trip, we stopped over in Maun to refuel and visit with one of our churches. We found some fun treasures while there including a cafe called the ‘Dusty Donkey’…it’s a must go to when you’re there.

Muddy truck and a lost license plate, but the truck and trailer did amazing in the bush

And if you lose your number plate in a big mud hole while camping this place can fix you right up 😉

Camping in Savuti, Botswana

We love to do a camping trip at least once a year to explore the beauty of Botswana and its amazing landscape and animals. Just before Christmas we did a camping trip though Savuti, Botswana which is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Our colleagues Sam and Sasha and their 3 kids joined us and we had a great time despite all the rain.

Thanksgiving

We had such a great Thanksgiving and so much to be thankful for this year. We hosted 35 people at our home on Thanksgiving. Although no turkeys could be found, we had 8 chickens and 2 hams. All of the guests brought a side and dessert to share and all walked away so stuffed.

Thank you, Jesus, for friends who have become family as we are away from our families in the States during the holidays ❤️

School kits-behind the scenes

There is a lot of work each year that goes into packing school kits for the kids. This year we had 380 school kits to pack so we enlisted the high school kids from our Fusion ministry to come over and help and bribed them with popcorn, brownies, and ‘Elf’. They worked so hard, so thankful for these servants hearts ♥️

Christmas play

Great day at Gaborone Baptist Church ❤️ The kids performed their Christmas play 🎄, ate hot dogs 🌭 , and went home with pencil cases  ✏️ with school supplies for their new school year starting in January.

Thank you to all of you who give so we can serve with the IMB here in Botswana and share Christ with these precious kids.
