Preaching

Brent had the opportunity to preach at Bosele Baptist Church here in Gaborone. What an amazing church!! The cutest little one joined him on stage with her snack πŸ˜‚

Hellos and Goodbyes

Missionary life is often filled with lots of hellos and goodbyes. We were so excited in early October to welcome Sam and Sasha Logue and their 3 kids to Botswana to be on our team and serve as an Agricultural Project Director. Unfortunately, November saw us saying goodbye to Sherra and Coye Still who were here working at the seminary and doing Trauma Healing Training. What a blessing it was to have them on our team.

Johannesburg Zoo

We recently visited the Johannesburg Zoo and one lioness was totally obsessed with Ellie. All was going well until she tried to eat EllieπŸ™ˆ fun memories

Halloween

I am not sure why but Ellie loves Halloween. I think it’s the dressing up that has the allure in her little mind. We traveled to Johannesburg the weekend before Halloween and got some Krispy Kreme donuts…yummy.

Since Halloween trick or treating doesn’t really exist here, we set up for the kids to come door to door of our house and give them candy. This year Ellie was our only trick or treaters and boy was she the cutest ❤️

First rains=Termites galore

Our first rains of the Rainy season (October to February) are such a blessing when they finally arrive but with this arrival comes millions of termites. Each year it literally reminds me of the plagues put upon Egypt in the Old Testament as Moses declared to ‘let His people go.’

Who knew termites could fly and bite 😬

O Christmas Tree πŸŽ„

Our sweet Kitty Amelia loves the Christmas tree and often falls asleep under the lights…I am just waiting for it to be pulled over by her little claws 🐈‍⬛

Thanksgiving

We have so very many things to be thankful for this year. We had an amazing Thanksgiving Feast at our home and hosted nearly 35 people. Although we miss our families back in the States especially as they all gather together in holidays such as these, we are thankful for the friends who have become family here in Botswana.
