 7 people were recently baptized at Gaborone Baptist Church. What a blessing to be a part of what the Lord is doing.

We love the high school students who come to our home every month for a ministry we call FUSION. Normally we host this at our home, but this month we took them paintballing. We had such a blast together 🎉

There are not a lot of options for these kids to do outside of school, so kids are more than excited to come hang out. Pray that we would take these opportunities to help shine the light of Christ into their lives. 

Welcome, Logue family!!

 We are so excited to welcome new colleagues-Sam and Sasha Logue and their 3 children-Dylan (9), Mason (7), and Eden (4) to serve with us here in Botswana. They are the new Agricultural Project Directors and will be such an amazing addition to the ministry here in Botswana. Welcome Logue family!!

Birthday Tea

 It was so fun to be a part of my friend Edna’s birthday tea and was asked to do some fun games for it. We had a blast hanging out together. Edna and her husband are here with the Brazilian mission agency and have served faithfully for so many years.  She has such a gift of leading a ministry called ‘Blessed Hands’ that teaches women skills so they can help provide for their families and is a tool for evangelism and discipleship  

1st rains-PULA 🌧

 PULA!! The first rains of our rainy season arrived this week 🎉 when the rains first come it reminds me of the first snows of the season in WV when we all would anxiously await the rain and couldn’t wait to go out and play in it. Ellie woke up, saw the rain, and immediately asked for her rain jacket and boots and was so excited to go outside.

Pray it’s a good rainy season this year as water levels are getting low in our water supplies.  Rain is so important in Botswana that we named our money after the rain…Pula!!!!

Happy 12th birthday, Bradyn!

 For Bradyn’s 12th birthday, we took him and a few friends paintballing. He had the best time and it was so much fun to celebrate him. We are so thankful for this adventure loving kid who is so patient and kind in all he does. He loves Jesus, hunting, reading, and all things outdoor...and he is Brent’s mini me 😊

Amelia the 🐈‍⬛

So thankful for our sweet kitty Amelia. Not only is she such a great friend to Ellie but she has also eliminated a few critters from our yard. This week she brought us a dead snake, lizard, and cockroach. Such great gifts 😳

Springtime in Botswana

 Living in the Southern Hemisphere, we get to enjoy Springtime during Fall in the States. There are so many beautiful flowers blooming and amazing smells this time of year. Thankful for how God makes all things new ❤️

Happy 5th birthday, Ellie!

 Our sweet Ellie turned 5 on September 7. So thankful for this little one and the JOY she brings to so many. 

Seminary Graduation in Botswana

 On September 3, we were able to hold a graduation for 8 students who completed the certificate level program at The Baptist Convention Seminary of Botswana. 

We are so very proud of each of the students who worked so hard to complete all of their requirements. Training up pastors and leaders in our churches throughout Botswana.
