Fusion

Last night we started back with our monthly meetings for high schoolers called Fusion. We have such a great time hanging with these kids and sharing the hope of Christ. So excited to do a new series with them called ‘Different’ by Jonathan Evans.

Funeral-Moruti Jongman

One of our beloved pastors here in Botswana recently passed away. He was one of the founding fathers of the Baptist faith here in Botswana and his son is now carrying on the legacy of preaching in their home village of Mahalapye. So many people came out to support this precious family and it truly was a celebration of his life and legacy. Thank you, Moruti Jongman for your faithful service to the Lord

Cricket

Bradyn recently made the school cricket team and a club cricket he plays on the weekends. As cricket is not a sport we play in America, we have had a lot to learn. He is doing a great job and gives his all.

1st day of school

Our kids love their schools here in Botswana. They recently had their 1st days of school and attend year round school which we love. Ellie started her first year of primary school (elementary school) entering into Reception/Kindergarten; Bradyn started his last year of primary school entering into 7th grade; and Taylor started 10th grade at a local high school.

So proud of these kiddos!!!

MK camp

Both of our big kids were able to attend their first MK (missionary kid) camp in South Africa. They had a blast hanging out with other MKs from around Africa and digging deeper in the Word. We are so thankful for these kids the Lord also has called to serve in the mission field with us.

Date days

I love taking my girls (and boy) for date days. Before school started back, Tay and I got our toes done and went for a coffee. The way to Ellie’s heart is definitely through ice cream. Love my girls ❤️

Sunday school materials

Because of your generous giving,  we were able to provide a children’s Sunday school curriculum, corresponding coloring sheets, crayons, and many more items to all of our Baptist churches and several other partnering churches throughout Botswana.

During our camping trip up in northern Botswana, we were able to stop and deliver the materials to several of the churches and visit with them.

What a blessing! Thank you for giving ❤️

Maun, Botswana

After our camping trip, we stopped over in Maun to refuel and visit with one of our churches. We found some fun treasures while there including a cafe called the ‘Dusty Donkey’…it’s a must go to when you’re there.

Muddy truck and a lost license plate, but the truck and trailer did amazing in the bush

And if you lose your number plate in a big mud hole while camping this place can fix you right up 😉

Camping in Savuti, Botswana

We love to do a camping trip at least once a year to explore the beauty of Botswana and its amazing landscape and animals. Just before Christmas we did a camping trip though Savuti, Botswana which is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Our colleagues Sam and Sasha and their 3 kids joined us and we had a great time despite all the rain.
