We love working with the high schoolers who come to Fusion once a month. We did a year end Christmas Party at the Gaborone Dam and invited their families to attend. We had 100+ people and had a wonderful time celebrating together. Many kids also had their first experience of kayaking, it was such a blast. .
I have had the privilege of volunteering on the pediatric oncology ward at the local hospital doing play therapy for the last 7ish years with a program called Thrive. We were able to do a Christmas Party for all of the kids on the ward and had some food and gifts that were donated that made the day special for all the kids and caregivers.
So thankful for the opportunity to get to serve in this way and to share the story of why we celebrate Christmas.
We had our annual children’s Christmas Play at Gaborone Baptist Church (GBC). We have to do this early as the kids finish their school year the first week of December and then they travel to their home villages for a month. The kids did such a great job!

There is no greater JOY than seeing your kids follow Jesus ❤️ On the day of Ellie’s baptism at Gaborone Baptist Church it was so hectic with the year end party so afterwards I focused in on Ellie’s face and oh it made my heart happy. Love this girl!!!
We love hanging out with the kids at Gaborone Baptist Church every Friday playing games, learning Bible verses and stories, and singing songs. Many of the kids have accepted Jesus this year and wanted to be baptized, even our sweet Ellie. on November 27, we baptized 11 children . So thankful how the Lord is working in their lives.
Happy Thanksgiving from Botswana. We started our day off with a very hot 5km Turkey Trot, but had a lot of fun running together. Saturday we had several people join us for a Thanksgiving Feast. Although no turkeys were to be found in Botswana, we still had some yummy traditional food and substituted chicken for turkey.
Thankful for friends who are family ❤️
