Chapter Closure for Bradyn

 It’s bittersweet as the chapter of Primary School closes for Bradyn. Primary school goes from Kindergarten to 7th grade and in January he will be starting high school and invading on Taylor’s turf. I am thankful that Ellie had her big brother at school with her for at least a year. Thornhill Primary School has been an amazing place for our kids to learn, make friends, and get to be a part of sports, music etc.   

Bradyn was the house captain for one of the 4 ‘houses’ and was voted on by his peers. Thankful for his testimony of being a gentle leader bringing great enthusiasm.

PTA

I love getting to be a part of our kids school through the PTA. It’s such a great way to get to know other parents, their teachers,  and also our kids friends and spread a little sunshine on their school campuses.  

And I get glimpses of my kids 😊

 Although we don’t have the traditional orange pumpkins, the kids still enjoy carving their own pumpkins 🎃

 The US embassy does a trunk or treat at their recreational center. Ellie enjoyed getting dressed up and trick or treating.

Before picking the kids from school, we filled water balloons and planted water guns around the house. We kept all doors locked and totally soaked the kids. I promise we are not mean parents, we all had a blast and memories made ❤️

Fusion-Go Springboks!

 For Fusion, the high schoolers that meet at our home once a month, we cheered on the South African Rugby team-the Springboks.  They went on to win, we are so proud of them!

Happy 13th birthday, Bradyn

 We have another teenager in the house. Bradyn turned 13 years old on October 12. So thankful for this adventure loving boy ❤️

Young Marrieds

 We love our Young Marrieds that come to our home nice a month. They keep growing and we welcomed our newest member-Baby Adom. Keep these couple in your prayers as they seek to honor the Lord in the marriages and families. 

Fusion

We love having the high school students (Fusion) at our home. We started a series called Defined that talk about their identity in Christ. it’s a 6 week series and we split up into teen girls and teen guys. Pray these kids see their true identity in Christ.

Fish

Ellie spent her birthday money from her Papaw and Mamaw on fish and a fish tank. We have already lost a couple due to one fish eating them but hopefully we are all sorted now 🐠 

Happy 6th birthday, Ellie!

On September 7, Ellie turned 6 years old. It’s hard to believe our baby is 6. Ellie had a ‘Dress up’ party for her birthday and had several friends and classmates over. We had a blast celebrating her.
